No. Your sleep data will be stored in RestOn first. Once it’s connected to your smartphone, the data will be synced with your phone and uploaded to the Cloud. When you don’t need to sync your data, you can leave your smartphone off or outside the bedroom entirely.

RestOn works if there are two sleepers in the bed as long as the other sleeper is not lying directly on your sensor. If you leave the bed during the night and the other person migrates to your side of the bed, your sensor will begin measuring their sleep, which will result in inaccurate sleep data.

RestOn will not start monitoring your data until you hit the “start” button in the Sleepace App. Once it starts, the sensors will track your motions but your privacy is safe with RestOn. The data is encrypted. Only you and the persons of your choice will have access to it.
